Iluminura: The art of illumination—the colorful illustration of a manuscript, typically decorated with drawings, arabesques, miniatures, and various graphic elements. This tradition dates back to the 13th century.
 

In creating the art for this project, my objective was to bring more visibility to the college’s Design course and its Pro Bono Graphic Design office, Iluminura. The word Design is presented with a distortion and optical illusion effect to emphasize that Design is an ever-evolving field. Although it has theoretical and practical foundations, it remains unbounded and continually transforms.
 

The colorful waves and paths represent fluidity, adding necessary vibrancy to reflect the creative essence of a designer’s work.
 

While achieving this beautiful result, we also needed to improvise and apply our knowledge of layout and color theory to complete the piece.
